The story of King Leonidas of Sparta in facing the invasion of Persia lead by a delusional megalomaniac Xerxes.. I love this movie.. very good adventure/ action movie although the depth of the story/ complexity is not even close to "gladiator" for example.. nevertheless, the awesome graphic and tons of beautiful half naked men is a good consolation. The movie also present a stronger image of mothers/ women .. It basically saying that it takes strong women to raise strong men, which I believe is very true... Mama's boy should not watch this movie, they'll run home jealous and crying.. It is one of the DVD I would like to have as one of my collection because i'll be playing it again and again ;-P
